Hello lashes.

My makeup routine has always been fairly simple- CC cream, blush, liquid eyeliner, and mascara are the essentials that I use on a daily basis. Several years ago I discovered a mascara that I loved, mostly due to the fact that it stayed put all day and did not rub off after hours at work. But the one thing I was still looking for was more volume and length. When my friend Jen asked me if I wanted to try Younique's Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes, I couldn't wait to see the difference this mascara would make in my day to day look.

The Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes comes with two tubes- a transplanting gel and natural fibers. First, you apply a coat of the transplanting gel. This step looks like a normal coat of black mascara. Immediately before the gel has time to dry, you apply a coat of the natural fibers. Finally, you apply a second coat of the transplanting gel to seal in the fibers and complete the look. I will admit that at first I struggled with the natural fibers. I felt like they were falling into my eyes often, which was a bit painful. After watching my friend Jen's application tutorial, I realized that I was applying the fibers way too close to my eyelids. After changing my application process to only applying the fibers to the top half of my lashes, I immediately noticed a difference and was much more pleased with the feel and look of my lashes. I absolutely love this product and the dramatic difference it makes in my overall look!
