I left work on Wednesday right after school to walk across the Manhattan Bridge, a bridge I ride across every day on the Q train but had never crossed on foot. The sunshine and seventy-four degree temperature made me even more excited to end my walk in Chinatown at one of my favorite ice cream shops. I popped in my headphones, selected my Happy playlist on Spotify, and was off! The two and a half mile walk was amazing. I took in the views of the East River, Brooklyn Bridge, and downtown Manhattan and captured it all on Snapchat to show my family back home in Minnesota. Once I was in Manhattan I treated myself to almond cookie ice cream at the Original Chinatown Ice Cream Factory. I also stopped and picked up some almond cookies at a bakery (they are my favorite!) to enjoy later at home. I ended my evening with an aura reading at Magic Jewelry.
