... we had dinner together at Five Napkin Burger.
We enjoyed their amazing wings, Tuscan fries, and a veggie burger as we talked and laughed the night away. After dinner, we walked over to the Christmas tree lot on Steinway to pick out our tree. We carefully inspected several Fraser fur trees, looking for imperfections as the vendor slowly spun them on the sidewalk.
After careful consideration, we found our perfect tree.
Once we gave them the okay, branches were cut and our seven foot beauty was wrapped and ready to carry home. And just like last year, Brian was my holiday hero as he hauled our tree safely back to my apartment.
Our first of twleve dates was a success, and I can't wait for eleven more dates full of holiday fun with my love before Christmas.
*I was inspired to write about our twelve dates of Christmas by The Rockstar Diaries, who got the idea from her friend Marci. I may not be able to make amazing DIY crafts, fill advent calendars, or throw holiday parties, but I know how to plan dates. And so does Brian. I thought the 12 Dates of Christmas was perfect for us, and I can't wait to plan more holiday dates around New York City over the next two weeks.
Awww I looove this idea and also saw it on Naomi's blog - isn't see the best!? :) I was totally planning to do this too but Jurgen and I are apart for a lot of this month since I'm visiting family in California :/ Next year I will definitely do it though!
