Life is Good also raises money for children in need through the Life is Good Playmakers. The Life is Good Playmakers, formerly known as Project Joy, is a Boston-based non-profit organization that strives to provide children with joyful play experiences to help them overcome life-threatening challenges, including illness, violence, and poverty. Brian and I have had the privilege of attending the Life is Good Festival for the past four years and together have raised over $4,000 for the Playmakers. This organization is near and dear to my heart, and I am so grateful that with your support Brian and I are able to contribute year after year to their amazing efforts.
The folks at Life is Good are giving away a $50 gift card to one New York State of Mind reader! I recently received this awesome Be Here Meow t-shirt, which I love for so many reasons:
- I happily admit I am a crazy cat lady, which we know includes owning and sporting cat apparel.
- The cat actually looks like Boo, so I love it even more.
- Life is Good's t-shirts are super soft and comfortable. I love the relaxed fit!
- The message, while cute and clever, also reminds me to be in the moment. A reminder I can always use!

Ellie and Matt make my life good... but wow, so does the upcoming 5 day Thanksgiving holiday! We are counting down!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, we are so excited for the long Thanksgiving weekend as well! We have Emily for the holiday ever year, so we are eager to do all of our Thanksgiving traditions with her again. Now I just need to make it through conferences this week!
DeleteSo this is the very first blog raffle I have ever entered. (hope i did it right!). I need a t-shirt that professes my love for bacon on it. It speaks to me.
ReplyDeleteYou did it right! Good luck! I need that bacon t-shirt as well. And I think I will be gifting a few this Christmas as well. My family loves bacon! Speaking of bacon, have you every tried dates wrapped in bacon? It is one of my favorite treats!
DeleteOMG. Bacon wrapped dates! That is what makes my life good. Thanks for reminding me! I usually stuff them with goat cheese or gorgonzola. So good! Thanks for the fun giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYum. There is a chance I will be making dates wrapped in bacon tonight. Once I crave them I can't stop!

ReplyDeleteOh, thanks Jo! Our co-workers definitely make my life good, too!
DeleteIt's cliche, but my husband and kids my make life good :)
ReplyDeleteNo need to say it's cliche! Your husband and boys are wonderful! Thanks for entering and good luck!
DeleteI can't believe your parent's got a 4th cat. Should I have my parents send them a "Welcome to the Crazy Cat People Club?" Hahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteYep, they have entered crazy cat family territory for sure!
DeleteSo many things currently making life good... today's weather was gorgeous and made running errands in BK that much better. Also currently obsessed w/ Pumpkin Pancakes. They make life good!

The weather in NYC this weekend was amazing! I enjoyed every second of it yesterday out and about with my parents, who are visiting from Minnesota. Anything pumpkin also makes me happy, too!
DeleteRight now my life is good because my sweet kitty Sophie has made a full recovery from some mystery illness she had. She is our baby and it was so nice to see the support from family and friends who did not just pass it off as "just a cat being ill".
ReplyDeleteOh, so happy to hear your cat made a full recovery! Our cat, Boo, had a stomach issue and had a ton of work done at the vet. It was just as traumatizing for my boyfriend and I as it was for her I think! Our kitty is definitely a huge part of our family as well.
DeleteGood luck with the giveaway!
