Blanket of white.
New York City is currently an icy, slushy, brown mess. But Monday... Monday was absolutely beautiful. The entire city was covered in a thick blanket of white snow. I took the long way home through Fort Greene Park and tried to capture the beauty with my iPhone. It was one of the most breathtaking snow days I have every seen in the city.

So so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mandy! It was such a beautiful day in NYC. Unfortunately, now most of the snow is brown and slushy! At least I have photographs to remember the white :)
DeleteI hope you have a wonderful week!
I stayed home from work on Monday, but on Tuesday morning, my drive was lovely. I expect it on my side of the river, but I was driving down the FDR to get into the Bronx and the sun was glistening off the snow in the trees. Absolutely gorgeous.

It was the most beautiful snowfall! I am envious you got to stay home from work on Monday. I still can't believe we didn't get any snow days last week!
DeleteSo gorgeous! I love how all the snow stuck to the tree branches. Too bad it turned to brown mush so soon!
ReplyDeleteSorry you didn't get any snow days! Boo to semi-reliable public transportation!
Hey Melissa! I know, the snow on the trees was amazing! The slush and ice have been so horrible though. I am more than ready for spring!
