Scenes from the weekend.

After several busy weekends of travel and family plans, I took advantage of my free time this weekend by spending many hours in pajamas watching Netflix (Hart of Dixie and Gilmore Girls my friends, don't judge). Brian and I had a delicious brunch at Norma's on Sunday morning before exploring the Jeff Koons exhibit at the Whitney Museum. On Monday I had the day off of school, so my friend Brianne and I met up for Ralph's Italian Ices and shopping on Fifth Avenue. We also walked through the Lego installation in Madison Square Park, which included a fun Lego flower garden. I also happened upon a hugging spot, screaming spot, and kissing spot in Union Square. Which would you choose?

  1. Don't even get me started on Gilmore Girls!! I can't believe Netflix has done this to me...good thing I enjoy crafting and writing and photo editing with a favorite show in the background! I've easily seen the whole thing twice!! Glad you had a kick-back long weekend...we definately need those from time to time!

    1. I am the exact same way. I love having shows on while lesson planning and photo editing. I am plowing through the Hart of Dixie season now, and then dedicating my time to Gilmore Girls. It is my first time watching! I have only heard good things.

  2. When I was on mat leave with my daughter, my mom and I spent two weeks watching Gilmore Girls together. There were days when she'd ask if I wanted to get outside for a bit, "Nah, let's watch GG!" And how cute; I'd definitely pick the hugging spot! Who did the hugging though?

    1. I would pick the hugging spot, too! You had to find your own person to hug though. This is my first time watching GG. I am loving it so far! Hart of Dixie is actually not a good show, but I somehow am addicted to it. It is just so easy to watch entire seasons on Netflix!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

  3. Oh, Gilmore Girls. I think it holds up as a pretty great show, even after all of these years. I still have serious opinions about my favorite boy on the show.

    I'd choose the hugging spot!
