On our fourth date of Christmas we saw Cuba Vibra! at the New Victory Theater. The music and dancing were amazing! We absolutely love the New Victory Theater. We became members this year, and the benefits are fabulous! As a member we receive up to 35% off tickets and unlimited free exchanges. The theater also offers free lockers, a variety of fairly priced organic snacks, and tons of fun activities for children (and adults!) before and after the shows. Seriously, we cannot praise this theater enough!
On our fifth date of Christmas Brian and I had lunch together at Max Bratwurst und Bier in Astoria. Freshly baked pretzels, beer, and Kaesespaetzle (German mac and cheese) make my heart and stomach very happy! After lunch we got a lot of our Christmas shopping done together at Target.
On our sixth date of Christmas we headed back to the New Victory Theater for Pedal Punk, a high-energy Steampunk show by Cirque Mechanics. The tricks were INSANE! We were on the edge of our seats the entire time. Afterwards Emily got to meet the cast and get all of their autographs- another fun perk of the New Victory Theater!
