Twelve dates of Christmas: On our eighth date of Christmas...

...we picked up treats from our favorite Italian bakery, brewed coffee in our new Chemex, and had a breakfast date at home in our pajamas! 

Gianpiero Bakery is one of our favorite places in Astoria. They have a wide variety of traditional Italian treats, along with many other bakery items. Brian and I shared an apple strudel, almond cookies, a cheese danish, and a horn pastry. They were all very tasty! 

Brian is loving our new Chemex. We still need to invest in the proper kettle, but until then we are making due with our coffee pot. It was a special treat to have delicious pour over coffee with our pastries.
