On Tuesday our school held its annual walkathon, planned and executed by the third graders. The students were eager to walk to raise money for Haiti! Also, my friend Michael makes school so wonderful.

You know it is hot in NYC when your cat opts to sleep in the tub.
Every year our school has a Staffle Raffle, where students buy raffle tickets to win play dates with teachers. On Thursday, two of my old second graders came over for their baking and board games play date! We had a blast making chocolate chip cookies, decorating cookie bags, and playing Monopoly Junior.
On Thursday night Brian and I had a date night at the Bowery Ballroom. We always love seeing Donavon Frankenreiter when he is in town!
Fleetwood Mac! Definitely worth a trip to Tampa to see them at The Forum with my sister and brother in law.
I couldn't love these two more. I am such a lucky auntie!
