I usually do not make new year's resolutions, but I am always a fan of lists. Since I loved making my summer bucket list last year, I thought it would be fun to think of fourteen things I would like to do in 2014. Here it goes!
- Get at least one stamp in my new passport.
- Clean out my closet. Purge, purge, purge!
- Getaway with Brian to Boston for a weekend.
- Attend a concert at Central Park's SummerStage.
- Visit my little brother in Chicago.
- Cook at least five recipes from my new cookbooks that I received for Christmas.
- Admire the orchids at the Botanical Gardens this spring.
- Watch Scandal.
- Try at least one new restaurant in my neighborhood.
- Explore the Cloisters in Fort Tyron Park.
- Host a brunch or dinner party.
- Visit the Guggenheim.
- Try to incorporate running intervals into my workouts.
- Visit my friend Hannah in Austin.
What do you want to accomplish in 2014? I would love to hear about your goals and/or resolutions. Happy new year!
Great list! I started Scandal a couple weeks ago and LOVE it! I have 1 more episode in Season 2. It's definitely addicting!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jordan! Several of my friends have recommended Scandal and I can't wait to watch it! Netflix has seriously changed my life. Have you watched Friday Night Lights? That is still one of my favorites!
Deletethis is lovely, such good ideas x
ReplyDeleteThanks Cat! I hope you have a wonderful new year!
DeleteHey Marlen! Thanks so much for commenting. I have a lot of cookbooks that are currently collecting dust! Brian just gave me a new slow cooker cookbook with all low GI recipes. I am excited to (hopefully) do some more healthy cooking this year!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year!
I can't wait to get to the Botanical Gardens - that's definitely on our NY list for 2014... multiple times :) Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year to you as well! Brian and I are members of the gardens and try to visit whenever we can. I am bummed we missed the holiday train show. Hopefully we can fit in several trips to the Bronx this spring!
