14 in 2014.

I usually do not make new year's resolutions, but I am always a fan of lists. Since I loved making my summer bucket list last year, I thought it would be fun to think of fourteen things I would like to do in 2014. Here it goes!

  1. Get at least one stamp in my new passport.
  2. Clean out my closet. Purge, purge, purge!
  3. Getaway with Brian to Boston for a weekend.
  4. Attend a concert at Central Park's SummerStage.
  5. Visit my little brother in Chicago.
  6. Cook at least five recipes from my new cookbooks that I received for Christmas.
  7. Admire the orchids at the Botanical Gardens this spring.
  8. Watch Scandal.
  9. Try at least one new restaurant in my neighborhood.
  10. Explore the Cloisters in Fort Tyron Park.
  11. Host a brunch or dinner party.
  12. Visit the Guggenheim.
  13. Try to incorporate running intervals into my workouts.
  14. Visit my friend Hannah in Austin.
What do you want to accomplish in 2014? I would love to hear about your goals and/or resolutions. Happy new year!

  1. Great list! I started Scandal a couple weeks ago and LOVE it! I have 1 more episode in Season 2. It's definitely addicting!

    1. Thanks Jordan! Several of my friends have recommended Scandal and I can't wait to watch it! Netflix has seriously changed my life. Have you watched Friday Night Lights? That is still one of my favorites!

  3. Hey Marlen! Thanks so much for commenting. I have a lot of cookbooks that are currently collecting dust! Brian just gave me a new slow cooker cookbook with all low GI recipes. I am excited to (hopefully) do some more healthy cooking this year!

    Happy new year!

    1. Happy new year to you as well! Brian and I are members of the gardens and try to visit whenever we can. I am bummed we missed the holiday train show. Hopefully we can fit in several trips to the Bronx this spring!
