Atop the Arc de Triomphe

After a busy day of sight seeing, my mom and I braved the 284 steps to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. The 360 degree views from the top of the Arc were phenomenal. We coincidentally timed our visit with the Eiffel Tower's first twinkling light show of the evening, which was amazing to see from high above the city.

  2. I always loved the views of Paris from "just above the roof tops" - Top of the Eiffel Tower is great, but the roof of George Pompidou, Sacre Coeur and these views....Just amazing. You did a phenomenal job of capturing these views at this time of day - not easy with the changing light, but beautiful shades in the sky and the lights add to the early evening magic!

    1. Thank you so much! The views from atop the Arc were so beautiful. I am glad we went up when we did; seeing the sky change from day to night was amazing! The light show on the Eiffel Tower was also so wonderful. I could have stayed up there all night watching it, I swear!

I agree about the views just above the roof tops. We also loved seeing the views from above at Notre Dame. I will share those photos soon!
