... we saw two amazing shows in Manhattan over Thanksgiving weekend.
On Friday night we saw Guster perform their 25th anniversary show at the Beacon Theater. They performed 25 songs in honor of their 25 years together over two and a half hours, including a ton of our favorites from all of their albums. They also had a little museum set up in the lobby with old fliers, photos, t-shirts, and concert posters. It was really fun to look at everything before settling into the front row of the loge seats for the show.
On Saturday night we saw the most incredible magic show,
Straight Up Magic, at The New Victory Theater. Jason Bishop and his assistant were absolutely amazing and we have no clue how they pulled off any of their tricks and illusions. We got to meet them briefly after the show and Emily got their autographs on her program. We hope they return to New York City again soon!
