12 Dates of Christmas: On the sixth date of Christmas...

... we celebrated our sixth month wedding anniversary in the West Village.
I can't believe we have already been married for six months. Time is flying by! It is crazy to think that one year ago we were getting engaged, and now we are married and expecting a baby in May. It was very exciting to coincidentally celebrate our sixth month anniversary on our sixth date of Christmas.
On our date we enjoyed each other's company during a late afternoon lunch at Olio e Piú. Our pasta meals were so incredible (I ordered the Spaghetti alla Carbonara and Brian ordered the Ravioli ai Funghi). I crave fresh pasta more than any other meal in the wintertime, so it was very comforting to be nice and warm inside savoring every single bite of our meals.
After lunch we walked over to Murray's Cheese to spend a gift card we received for a wedding gift. We stocked up on delicious cheeses, salty caramel, crackers, and a cheese board and knife set. It was so fun to shop together! We dug into the soft cheese and salty caramel as soon as we got home. While in the Village we also stopped for coffee at Prodigy Coffee and cupcakes at Molly's Cupcakes. If you are there I highly recommend the creme brûlée cupcake; it is my absolute favorite and I order two every time I go! Of all of the dates this season, this one is my favorite. I loved spending time with Brian in one of my favorite New York City neighborhoods.
