Our afternoon concluded with sundaes from Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory and pumpkin whoopie pies from One Girl Cookies.
It was a beautiful day.

Our day in DUMBO.
Brian, Emily, and I headed to Brooklyn on Sunday morning for our first spring adventure of the season. After stopping at Peter Pan for donuts, coffee, and egg sandwiches, we made our way to DUMBO to spend the day at Brooklyn Bridge Park. We threw rocks into the East River as Q trains rumbled over Manhattan Bridge, played in the pirate ship playground, rode on Jane's Carousel, and took in the amazing views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie that Emily is. Looks like you had a lovely day! I need to plan a trip to NYC... every time I read your blog, it makes me want to go back!
ReplyDeleteI need to ride on Jane's Carousel asap!
ReplyDeleteI also have been meaning to check out the DUMBO location of One Girl - I ran past it recently and it looks so different than their Cobble Hill store (but equally cute!).
Love your striped top and green nail polish :)
I love Brooklyn Bridge Park! I have to get to the carousel, I've been dying to take some pictures of it but have only seen it from a distance...
ReplyDeleteThat whoopie pie looks delicious!
