When I arrived at the Grauman's Chinese Theater, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed wandering the hand and footprints of the stars. I circled around several times reading the names and fitting my own hands and feet in the famous prints, imagining Judy Garland, Julia Andrews, and Marilyn Monroe at the theater years ago marking their spots in the cement. I was starstruck.
I concluded my little sightseeing adventure at the Hollywood and Highland Center, where I admired the HOLLYWOOD sign in the hills.
I had a great time wandering around Hollywood !
Great.
ReplyDeleteNow I wanna watch Pretty Woman (for only the billionth time).
:P
Great pictures, as always! Love your striped skirt/tie-up top combo.
Also, seeing Ron Howard's hand and footprints reminds me that he hasn't changed a bit since his Richie Cunningham days...well, 'cept for the hair loss, that is. Heh heh. And sure, he's aged a little...but he's virtually the same! :-)
Sigh... I really love L.A.
ReplyDeleteI am heading that way soon! I'm looking forward to seeing some of these sights. :)
