Saturday we traveled up to the New York Botanical Gardens to check out Kiku and the Haunted Pumpkin Garden. It was such a lovely afternoon! We watched a Japanese drum performance, had lunch in the cafe, and spent a few hours exploring the grounds. Sunday was just as packed with a trip to another fresh Banksy piece on 79th Street (more pictures coming soon of this one, too!), some shopping in midtown, a trip to the gym, and dinner at Milkflower with my friend Vanessa. Although I am feeling a little tired today from the weekend, I am so grateful I had so many fun and excited things to do! How was your weekend?

ReplyDeleteFun fact: My parents were married at the New York Botanical Gardens! I don't think I've ever been, though.

Hey Karen! The city is always changing, which is one of the many reasons why I love it so much! If you are moving here soon and need any help with neighborhoods, restaurants, sights to see, etc. please let me know! I would love to share some of my favorites!
DeleteThe view from that apartment is amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou had such an ambitious art weekend. I can't wait to see your posts on the Banksy pieces. It's so fun hearing about his project.
