This weekend was a productive one. My Saturday started at
Tekserve in Manhattan. My hands were literally shaking as I held my service ticket and broken external hard drive in their waiting area. There is nothing worse than the fear of losing thousands of photos! Luckily after a few minutes with the technicians they determined it was a power issue and that they could transfer all of my data to a new drive. PHEW! I instantly felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. I shopped a bit on Fifth Avenue to celebrate my technology victory before heading home. Saturday night Brian and I were tucked in with Chinese food and The Office by 8 pm. What can I say, we are party animals.
Sunday morning we drove out to the
Whole Foods in Manhasset, Long Island to stock up for the Thanksgiving holiday. After years of hauling countless bags of groceries through the streets of New York City it was amazing to be able to park our car, shop, and load everything into the trunk! We spent the rest of the day watching football and catching up on work. How was your weekend?
