Panthéon

The Panthéon was one of the many historic buildings my mom and I visited while in Paris last July. We climbed to the top balcony inside to admire the space from above and also toured the crypts in the lower level. The Panthéon was under construction while we were there, but we were pleasantly surprised by the art installation used to cover the spaces being worked on. I have admired JR's art in New York City and was excited to see his Au Panthéon photo installation both inside and outside the Panthéon.

    I always find it so interesting when something modern combines so well with something so old and historic. It's the curves and domes of places like these that always woo me!
