Flashback Friday: In Honor of the Bride

There are so many photos I take that don't end up making it onto my blog, most often due to lack of time to create the posts! I thought I would start a Flashback Friday series to periodically highlight some of my favorite photos that were never shared. First up... an amazing evening last April in Williamsburg to celebrating our bride-to-be, Liz! We were unable to make it to her summer wedding in Italy, so we planned a get together stateside before her nuptials to celebrate.
We started the festivities with manicures at Primp and Polish on Bedford Avenue, followed by ice cream from Van Leeuwen. Allidah created Liz's paper flower crown, which was proudly worn all evening. It was absolutely beautiful!
After walking off our ice cream we dined at Reynard at the Wythe Hotel. We snuck upstairs after we ordered to take in the sunset over the East River from the rooftop bar. Our dinner was perfection, due to the delicious food and amazing friends to enjoy it with!
Stay tuned for more Flashback Friday posts over the coming months!

Our Minnesota Wedding Reception {moments}

These are the final wedding photos I will be sharing from our Minnesota brunch celebration. There were so many wonderful moments that morning with our family and friends, and our photographers Rachel and Rob captured them beautifully. Candid photos are always my favorite and I am grateful we have so many from both of our weddings! One of my top five moments from our celebration was seeing my grandparents the moment they arrived that morning; the photos of us hugging will definitely be framed somewhere in our home.

Our Minnesota Wedding Reception {family love}

Our Minnesota wedding celebration was all about family. I am one of eight children and Brian is one of nine, so we knew the majority of our guest list would be our relatives! Our celebration was held in my hometown at a golf club less than two minutes from my parents' house. Many of Brian's relatives live in the Northeast and could not make to Minnesota, but all of my siblings and immediate family were there! We took photos together before our festivities began at 11 am. I will cherish these images forever!
