My mom and I had a wonderful weekend wandering the city. We enjoyed cherry cream scones from Amy's Bread in Chelsea Market, sipped the perfect cappuccinos from 9th Street Espresso and Stumptown, browsed the sale racks at Anthropologie, and admired the shops and quaint streets in the West Village. The weather was perfect and we gladly opted to walk thirty blocks at a time instead of riding the subway. We tried new restaurants in Astoria (the organic burgers, shakes, and fries at Bare Burger were delicious), and returned to our favorite bakeries and cafes in Manhattan. We happily indulged in cupcakes for breakfast and macarons for lunch.
I love when my mom comes to visit.

I can't wait until I come to visit and we stuff our faces with all those ridiculously good looking pastries you tease everyone with :)
