Brian, Emily, and I had a wonderful day out and about in Brooklyn last Sunday. We started our day at our favorite donut shop, Peter Pan. We have so many memories here. The second I see the wire racks of donuts, the old fashioned stools, and the girls running back and forth in their teal and pink uniforms a feeling of joy overwhelms me. Peter Pan is our happy place.
After our bellies were full of donuts, eggs, bacon, and coffee we headed to Brooklyn Bowl. We chowed down on Rock and Roll fries as we bowled game after game.
Our afternoon concluded at the Williamsburg Flea. We combated hot temperatures with fresh, homemade apple ginger soda and ice cream sandwiches.
Days out and about in New York City are my favorite days, especially when they are with my favorite people.
There are so many reasons why I love New York.
love that! looks like a great summer day out. we're still waiting for summer to come back here so we'll get out more.
