Williamsburg

I love New York City for its neighborhoods. Each one is unique with its own quirks and characteristics. With a swipe of a Metrocard and a ride on the subway, you can transport yourself to a space completely different than your own. I love hopping on the L train to Williamsburg, a neighborhood that has so much personality. It definitely lives up to its reputation of being hip and is full of cafes, shops, and boutiques. I love stocking up on shoes at Shoe Market and DNA Footwear, grabbing a quick bite at the Meatball Shop, and making one of a kind jewelry at Brooklyn Charm. And on the weekends the Williamsburg Flea and Artists and Fleas are musts!

What are some of your favorite neighborhoods in New York City? What places do you visit while you are there?

  1. A friend of mine lives on East 10th street in Manhattan and that's where I've spent most of my days when I go to the city. Close enough to Union Square and the green market. I love to walk around and visit the artists' booths, especially the ones I've already purchased a piece from before.

Then I like to walk around St. Mark's and wander through the East Village. There is always something new to see. Another picture to take. Another fascinating person to meet. Another tattoo shop debate going into. ;)
