My mom was in town for a quick visit over the weekend. Friday evening Brian and I took her to our most
favorite Christmas house in Queens. The rain started before we arrived, but it didn't stop us from getting out of the car to admire the Lynch family's Santa collection, elves, and Christmas village up close. The wet weather continued throughout the evening and all day Saturday. The weather was miserable, but we powered through. We were able to get a lot of Christmas shopping done along Fifth Avenue and in Grand Central at the
Holiday Fair. We also stopped at the tree in Rockefeller Center and admired the windows at Berdorf's. After dropping my mom off at the airport Sunday morning, Brian and I went on our third date of Christmas before retreating to the house for the rest of the day. I can't wait to carry on our
12 Dates of Christmas tradition this holiday season!
