Scenes from the weekend.

Brian was on a business trip in D.C. for the first part of the weekend. While he was away I attended our friends' daughter's first birthday party. Heidi had a blast destroying her smash cake! After several minutes of flinging frosting around the living room we transferred her and the cake to the bathtub, where she continued to slip and slide in buttercream icing. 

On Sunday Brian and I had a lazy morning and afternoon at home. He watched football and worked while I binge watched Gilmore Girls. That evening we went to the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden in Astoria to see our friends perform. We love Audio Revival and try to catch all of their shows around New York City! The weather was perfection and actually got a little chilly as the sun set. I think fall weather has finally arrived in New York! How was your weekend? 

Flashback: NYFW 2014

Last February I had the privilege of attending Rolando Santana's show during New York Fashion Week. My friend Michael Cinquino was photographing the event and asked me to help him capture the action backstage prior to the runway show. I absolutely loved the experience and had such a wonderful time assisting Michael and his team. Since I never shared my photos from that day, I thought this week would be the perfect chance to as this year's fall shows wrap up!
