Burger Joint

The Burger Joint has always had a special place in my heart. Tucked away in a corner of the Le Parker Meridien, it has a magical, secretive feel to it. My mom and I first went there several years ago after reading about it in US Weekly (gotta love that celebrity sightings section!), and have loved it ever since. Then, when Brian and I started dated, we frequently went there after late nights at work for burgers, fries, and brownies. I have so many wonderful memories there. And tonight, another memory was added. My step-dad, Chuck, and I had a perfect dinner. We caught up over burgers and chocolate shakes and had a great time. I am so happy he is in town for the weekend, and can't wait for my mom to fly in tomorrow.

Having my family in the city makes me a very happy girl! A good burger makes me happy, too.
