Buongiorno
Yesterday morning I had my Italy girls over for brunch. I lived with these beautiful ladies seven years ago in Florence, and we have been great friends ever since. Once we sat down with our plates of french toast, eggs, and fresh strawberries, we realized that we had not all gotten together in months upon months. But, the wonderful thing is, it didn't even matter. We picked up where we left off and had hours of conversation about everything from engagements to jobs to our next shopping trip together. I am so grateful for my Via Cavour girls. Our brunch at home was the perfect start to my weekend.

Friends where you pick up where you left off without a hitch are treasures. Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a blessing to have friends like that.
ReplyDeleteFriends like that are worth holding onto - no wonder you're still friends so many years after you'd lived together! It's great that you were able to visit with them. Happy Sunday :)

ReplyDeleteWHERE did you get the napkins? (And please email me AND post in the comments, I know I'm not the only one!)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had such a good time! That's great that you are all so close, even after not seeing each other for so long. True friends are hard to come by!
