Our Florida Fish

From the moment we arrived in Florida, all Emily wanted to do was swim. She is our little fish! We were able to have two amazing days at the pool with my nieces Reese and Sage. It makes my heart happy to see the girls becoming such good friends. They had a blast swimming and playing together!

A little video from our trip to Florida.

Brian, Emily, and I had an amazing week together in Florida. We started our travels with my family in Tampa and Orlando, and then drove to Venice for the second half of the week to be with Brian's family.

All video filmed on my Canon 6D and edited in iMovie. Music by Katrina Stone.

Sage turns 7!

Here is a little video from my long weekend in Florida with my family. My niece Sage requested a video for her sixth birthday last year, so I thought I would keep the tradition going for her seventh. Enjoy!

Florida Birthdays

My niece's birthday is the day after mine, so every year we try to celebrate together over the long weekend in January. This year we had a blast at Busch Gardens, painted pottery for hours at You Do the Dishes, and fed the fish at sunset at the dock in their neighborhood. I cherish each and every minute with my girls and cannot believe Reese is already nine years old!

Scenes from the weekend.

Brian and I spent the weekend in sunny Jacksonville, Florida. His older brother David got married on Saturday afternoon to a lovely woman named Jo, and we couldn't be happier for the newlyweds. Jo was so kind, calm, and friendly all weekend and I know she will fit right in with our crew. We had a great time catching up with Brian's family and dancing the wedding night away. I swear, Brian's dance moves get bigger and better with every passing wedding. I met a few uncles and cousins for the first time and really enjoyed getting to know them. In addition to the wedding festivities, I also snuck in an hour by the pool and read Mindy Kaling's book. Why I waited until now to read that is beyond me. It was hilarious! How was your weekend?
